Age 4: The right-hand photography is her winter coat, before she shed out; she lightened rather dramatically when she got her summer coat.
Precious was started under saddle on her fourth birthday (left). She started trotting a few days later. She was basically shaped like a 50 gallon drum; the saddle that fit her best before she muscled up was a Thorogood Broad-backed extra wide dressage saddle (a synthetic saddle made in England; the Wintec extra wide was not wide enough...)
