For prescription safety eyeglasses you must purchase them through Dispensers Optical Service, HP has a $85 limit with this vendor.
  1. Print a copy of the Safety Glasses Purchasing Program.
  2. Have your eyes examined by your regular optometrist or ophthalmologist. Our vendor cannot make glasses from a prescription that is more than a year old. This is your expense.
  3. Print out the Corrective Eyewear Request Form to fill in and have your manager sign.
  4. Take your prescription to a fitting with Dispensers Optical Service optician when they are at Palo Alto, Cupertino or Roseville sites. Your glasses will be ready in about 2 weeks. See schedule for appointment dates, rooms, and times.
