17,000 Reenactors battle in Virginia. The Cornfield was the most exciting battle. We lined up at 5am and marched in columns - 4 abreast in the dense fog. We could see only about 30 feet in front of us in the fog. As each company in line, (100 soldiers in a double line), deployed into the cornfield hidden in morning mist amid the muffled sound of rifle and cannon fire. It was amazing sight.
