Hello and WELCOME to my corner of the world. My name is Mats Olsson. I'm an artist who has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 40 years. Now in my mid-40's I've finally come round to starting to show my work (yes, I've been really lazy and uncertain and shy of showing!)

A major subject for me, as you yourself will notice, is the 'imperfect' male nude. There may be a certain skewed Narcissism about that, but it serves me well. The men depicted are seen in varied tableaux, woven into one another in a way such that the settings are as vital to the nude man as he is to the settings. I intend no eroticism with these images; for me these naked men are symbol and poesy.
