TROOP 60 UNIFORM POLICY:    

  CLASS A UNIFORM POLICY:

  • Shirt:  Official BSA uniform shirt, short or long sleeve, placement of badges and insignias must follow BSA regulations.  Shirt must be tucked in.

  • Pants: Official Scout pants preferred, but  denim jeans, blue only, may be worn. They must be in good repair and not excessively faded or baggy.

  • Shorts:  Official BSA uniform shorts only; if shorts are worn, official BSA uniform socks must also be worn.

  • Belt:  Official BSA uniform belt only.

  • Shoes:  Athletic or hiking shoe or any sturdy shoe appropriate for Scout activities; no sandals or flip-flops.

  • Socks:  Any kind acceptable with blue jeans; only official BSA uniform socks can be worn with BSA shorts.

  • Neckerchief:  Official Troop 60 neckerchief or other council recognized special program neckerchiefs, such as the White Stag neckerchief is acceptable.

  • Neckerchief Slide:  Official BSA slide or any hand made slide of an appropriate scout design.

  • Hat;  Official BSA scout hat, Troop 60 hat, or no hat.  

CLASS B UNIFORM POLICY:

  •  Shirt:  Official Troop 60 T-shirt .

  • Pants:  If in public:  Denim jeans, blue only.  They must be in good repair and not excessively faded or baggy.  If camping or performing a work project out of general public view, any type of pants is acceptable.

  • Shorts:  If the activity is a council event or is in view of the general public, official BSA uniform shorts & socks should be worn.  If camping or performing a work project out of general public view, any type of shorts is acceptable.
